MEDITATION - 'JUST THIS'

Join Ann for three meditation sessions where we will explore being with 'Just This'.

Being quiet, resting the mind and body in meditation can be delicious, however, at first what we feel may seem odd. There's an emptiness (no action or distraction) and a fullness (that of our thoughts and sensations that we suddenly notice). There is a non-doing in our meditation and when we allow things to settle we experience a calm.

Meditation helps us to attain a state of consciousness that is different from our normal waking state. It is a means to go deep into our inner selves, to look within to experience our essential nature which is deeply connected to our world.
In our first session we will begin by exploring 'The Story of Me'.

Sessions will include a short talk, meditation, pranayama and asana, that will encourage stillness within the mind and body. You will have the opportunity at the end of the sessions to give feedback from your meditation if you wish.

Session 2. 'The Flow of Creativity'

Monday 2nd October 7pm - 8pm
Session 3 'Resting in the Pause'

Suitable for all adult ages and abilities. Cost £30 for all 3 sessions or £12 per session
